Вот сегодня однин японец написал мне:

Although the quake registered an intensity of 5.0 on the Japanese scale here in Shizuoka area, my family and I are fine all right. Thank you for the letter of inquiry.

The earthquake is reported the worst one, 9.0 on the Richter scale, in the Japanese history, causing catastrophic damages in the northern part of Japan such as Fukushima, Iwate, and Miyagi prefectures. More than 2,000 people have been reported killed and more than some thousands people are still missing. I saw on TV countless numbers of cars, some thousands of houses, fishing boats, and big tankers were washed away like tree leaves by continuous tidal wave, Tsunami. A 10-meter high Tsunami also attacked Sendai airport which is located about 2 km away from the coast line.

The explosion of four houses encasing the nuclear reactors is now getting a growing concern in Japan. The first explosion of the house encasing the nuclear reactor broke out the day before yesterday. The second explosion of another house encasing another nuclear reactor broke out yesterday. The third and fourth explosions broke out today. Some people are injured by the explosions and some people including inhabitants are exposed to certain levels of radiation.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to all the people suffered from the earthquake, Tsunami, and explosion of nuclear reactor buildings.
